Tiny collagraph print 2015 series #10

Description

A tiny collagraph print, #10 in a series called Tiny 2015. It is made with cadmium yellow and cobalt violet. In combination these produce a rich orange colour.

By chance, I found myself in 2014, 2015 and 2017 making several series of tiny prints. The 2015 series, of which this is one, are all collagraphs, made on a variety of papers. Each print is made by inking multiple plates and different colours. Each image made this way is unique. The texture comes from textured paper or acrylic texture paste applied to the card plate and sealed with varnish

The print is about 60 mm (2.5″) square and is made on a hand made grey-brown banana paper about 125 mm x 125 mm (about 5″ x 5″.) The image shown on your screen is probably larger than the physical print. This shows the rich physical texture and subtle shading possible with this technique.

This is a single one of a kind print. The other images show various frames and mounts (software generated) for illustration, but no frame or mount is included in the price. If you would like me to arrange mounting and/or framing please get in touch before ordering.

Remember this is a one off opportunity. Once it’s gone it’s gone! Why not buy several and arrange them as a group in a multi-aperture mount?
