Fractured Flag #2

Fractured Flag #2 is an original monotype made using gel printing with bold dramatic colours. It is one of a series of gel prints exploring and deconstructing the idea of a flag, without blatantly copying the ideas of Jasper Johns. A mixture of masks and stencils create a layered, painterly surface with subtle visual texture.
