A Furnace of Stars

A Furnace of Stars is a colourful, layered abstract monotype created using gel printing with acrylic paints on paper. The piece draws inspiration from the extraordinary images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. I’ve returned to Hubble imagery many times over the years; something about the colour, depth and sense of vastness keeps pulling me back.
