Description
Adrestus is a limited edition abstract digital print in pastel shades. I adopted the strong vertical format for it, to remove any associations with landscape. It has soft edged patches in pastel colours overlaid with strong graphic brush like marks.
I made it using my physical prints as source material for digital colour separation files. I used CMYK which is the standard acronym in the printing industry for cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. After editing to change proportions and add other graphic elements, I then used these as new colour separations.
By recombining them digitally, I created the current image. In some cases, including this one, I also manipulated the recombined image to take it even further way from the source material.
Adrestus is not a reproduction. It does not exist in any other form or medium. It is a uniquely digital product.
The edition is of 50 prints, each one 53 cm x 19 cm (approximately 21″ x 7.5″). I will print your copy to order using pigment inks on 300gsm archival quality soft textured matt paper.
I will sign and number every one sold on the face of the print. Shipping will be in a tube, loosely rolled.
Adrestus is one of a planned suite of limited edition digital prints, all abstract, all in this vertical panoramic format. Currently, they also include
